TabTrade Overview - What to Know Before You Sign Up
The Broker - What It Is
TabTrade went live in March 2026. CFD broker registered in Saint Lucia, licensed through the FSRA. The founder is Benjamin Boulter. Prior to TabTrade, he was on the executive team at BlackBull Markets, a well-known broker.
The BlackBull connection matters. It means the leadership has actually done this before. Does not guarantee anything. It is more reassuring than a random name you cannot trace.
TabTrade came out of the gate with Equinix LD4/LD5 connectivity. Same facilities prime brokers run on. The typical new launch starts with a white-label MT4 setup. These guys went the other way. Not the typical playbook.
The instrument list: forex, indices, gold, silver, commodities, stock CFDs, crypto, exchange-traded funds. 1,000+. For something that is a few months old, the breadth is solid.
The Software
You get: MetaTrader 5, cTrader by Spotware, and a browser platform. Both platforms from the same login. Many pick one platform. Access to both matters. Use whichever you prefer.
MT5 is the default. Complete charts, automated trading, huge user base. If you have used MT4 or MT5 previously, it is familiar territory.
cTrader is the more modern one. Cleaner order book. Smoother chart interaction. cBot support. Plenty of traders prefer it after using both.
FIX API is available for automated strategies but needs the VIP tier ($25,000 deposit). TradingView charting is reportedly coming. That would round things out when it arrives.
Accounts and Pricing
Three tiers: Standard, Edge, VIP.
Standard account. Spreads from 1.0 pips. No commission. Straightforward. No minimum deposit. Suits people who want simple pricing.
Edge account. Interbank-style spreads from 0.0 pips on average. Flat commission of $3.50 each way. Total cost: raw spread plus $7 per full lot. On majors, the raw spread is often under 0.2 pips. So your real cost can sit below 0.5 pips. That is hard to beat for an offshore broker. Most platforms that have spreads this tight require a minimum deposit. Tab Trade requires zero deposit.
VIP account. $25,000 minimum. FIX API, faster fills, tailored rates. Not something typical accounts. Do not worry about it unless you move real size.
Infrastructure
The speed is the thing Tab Trade separates from most new launches. Equinix LD4/LD5. Sub-30ms execution on Edge. Below 20ms on VIP. These are institutional numbers. The average platform run a much wider range.
Should you care? For short-term trading, yes. The difference between a 30ms fill and a 200ms fill is profit or loss on tight trades. If you hold positions longer, you will not notice. The point is the infrastructure is there. That says something about priorities.
Put together that execution speed with 0.0 pip spreads and $7 round-turn and the total package makes sense. Hardly anyone with no minimum deposit run Equinix connectivity.
Regulation
Here is the detail you need to be straight about. Tab Trade is under the FSRA in Saint Lucia. That is tier-3. No CySEC. No investor compensation scheme. If operating without FCA or ASIC oversight is a problem for you, this broker is not for you. Lots of ASIC-licensed brokers out there.
But. The founder spent years at BlackBull Markets, a proper broker. The server placement is expensive. Dodgy operations do not invest in proper execution infrastructure. That does not guarantee anything. But factor into how you think about it.
The deal: you trade regulatory safety. For that: 1:1000 leverage, raw pricing from 0.0 pips, no minimum deposit, Equinix execution. Whether that makes sense depends on you.
Deposit Bonus
Tab Trade has bonus funds of up to $2,000. Typical welcome offer. You fund your account, they credit extra capital. The normal fine print: trading volume requirements before you can withdraw the bonus. Check the terms before you deposit.
